  • PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN:

    • Kids' Klub    Nothing is more important than giving our children a firm foundation.  We need to foster in them a love for what God has told us in the Bible.  God wants us to know about Him and to know the truths he offers to us through the Bible.  Kids' Klub meets each Sunday (except in the summer) during the worship service and continues through the "traditional Sunday School" hour which follows.  All of the elements of worship are incorporated with fun and activity.  Bible lessons are taught in imaginative ways.  Kids' Klub is so much fun that everyone may want to attend, but only those children ages 5 through 5th grade may join!.  Held at Pomperaug High School.

    • Nursery    Optional nursery care for those newborn to three  years old is provided during the worship service as well as the Sunday School hour.  Caring individuals are available to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our smallest children.  Held at Pomperaug High School.

    • Kids' Week   The Community Chapel has a wonderful tradition of holding a weeklong evening program for kids called "Kids' Week" during the summer that combines fun with instruction.  This is held in July at Ballantine Park, Southbury.

    • Kids' Kafe    A new adventure that we've started is to bring the fun of Kids' Week to our community more frequently.  On a Saturday evening each month, we offer families a casual place to have a free light dinner, play games, enjoy a live band, watch a puppet show, and hear life-changing stories.  Please watch the Voices newspaper for the annoucement each month or contact the Church's Ministry Center for specific information.
