We are glad you came to check out who we are and what we do. The Community Chapel first opened its doors April of 1988 and ever since has offered anyone who seeks, an opportunity to worship, learn, think, pray, and be cared for by a church family.

What is your denomination?
          The Community Chapel is a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.  The C&MA founders believed that Christians should gather around the person of Jesus Christ and not denominational distinctives. We are a bible believing church family committed to loving our neighbors next door and around the world.

When are you services?

What is the dress code?
        Casual, wear what you like (we meet in a high school, how formal could we be?)

What happens in the worship service?
        we sing, we pray, we learn, we fellowship, we grow

Why do you meet at Pomperaug High School?
        We meet in the PHS cafeteria on Sundays for our worship service. We have just recently purchased property and are beginning to construct a new church building.

What do you have for my kids?
        Lots!
        We have a nursery for infants through children 2 years old during our worship service in a room right near the cafeteria. The nursery is lead by well trained, Safeplace certified adults.
        For kids ages 4 through 5th grade we have Kids Klub
        For middle school grade 6-8
        For high school grade 9-12 Cell Groups
